LIFE LESSONS FROM BRICKLAYERS

As humans are divided into different classes/groups by our race, religion, nationality amongst many other things. I have started by stating this 'cos a bricklayer might not be the first thing that come to mind when you think of jobs for yourself ,kids or husband. Don't feel bad about it , you're not alone on this.
Recently, we had a work done at home that required bricklayers and while they were busy being themselves and going about their normal duties a few things stuck out to me , I wrote them down immediately and decided to share them on here.

  1.
PAY ATTENTION TO DETAILS:
While they were working, their eyes for details was exceptional. I just assumed that it comes with the job 'cos from the client angle sorry won't cut it for me if there was a huge mistake in what I we had earlier discussed. This can be related to regular life for things to come out almost perfect if not perfect
 2 .
STEP BACK, TAKE A BREAK AND HAVE AN OVERVIEW OF WORK DONE:
One would think that with all the work bricklayers do and how fast they want to get work done they'll rush through it but on the contrary, they take mini breaks to review the work being done. They legit step back to review the work done. I'm taking this tip and applying to my life immediately and I recommend you do the same.

3.
TIME IS MONEY:
For a bricklayer this is a huge fact as they get paid per day /work done( you already know this) with this stored in their subconscious, they don't go round dancing when they have work to be done. work first then they spend they evening doing whatever they want.

4.
TEAM WORK WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE:
This is pretty self explanatory , team work gets work completed in time and  makes work smooth

5.
WORK WITH A HAPPY/ FREE SPIRIT:
If you have seen bricklayers working on a site, you'll understand what I'm saying more. They crack jokes, sing and make fun of the smallest things and it has you wondering. Here's the question " why are they so happy doing what they are paid to do and you are somewhat grumpy about your job?"

6.
BE HAPPY/ GRATEFUL FOR EVERY MOMENT YOU/ TIME YOU SPEND WITH THE YOUR COLLEAGUES.
